biography
Born and raised in Portland, I have roots going back to the Oregon Trail and the first governor of Oregon!
History: My parents' love of Portland is in my blood. Their involvement in, and giving back to, our community was part of my life, and I do my best to replicate their example. I am deeply involved in our public school system, from volunteering in classrooms and on a variety of committees, to working on city and state-wide campaigns. Do you have questions about Portland schools? Ask me!
Family: My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful boys - one middle school-aged, one in high school. As a family, we are involved in many different sports, Boy Scouts, and (of course) schools. We have a fluffy dog, crazy cat, sweet lizard, and two slimy water frogs.
Interests: FAMILY, schools, challenges, watching my boys do anything, travel, cooking, pottery, glass, art, outdoors, gardening, reading, success, volleyball, making people happy.
Area of expertise: I was raised in Dunthorpe, attended Wilson High School, catered (for 16 years) in the West Hills and Lake Oswego, and live in Hillsdale. I am most familiar with Southwest Portland, but love it all!
